For two decades, Monique Burt Williams has counseled law firms, global corporations, and government agencies through complex workforce augmentation and talent management challenges.  

Monique formerly worked for a prominent litigation boutique and was subsequently asked to join the legal division of a Fortune 500 workforce solutions company. While there, she built a consulting practice to address the various concerns of corporate law departments: legal operations and administration, outside counsel management & cost containment, executive search, contingent workforce and talent development, remote workforce management, legal operations, and diversity and inclusion consulting.

Immediately prior to launching Two Cups of Tea, Monique served as the Chief Executive Officer of the nation’s largest woman-owned search firm for in-house lawyers. In 2021,  Inc. magazine named Cadence Counsel one of the Fastest Growing Companies in America.

Monique is a retained senior advisor to global corporations and professional services firms.  She is frequently invited to speak with audiences about building and expanding law departments, career development, executive leadership, time management, and work-life balance. She is an active member of YPO and she serves on several boards.

Monique is based in the greater Chicagoland area with her (lawyer) husband and their two sons, also known as their "two cups of tea."
